Austrian Student Host Application
Sage Creek High School and Carlsbad High School will be hosting the Austrian exchange students again this year. It has been three years since we have had this opportunity and we are excited to partner with the Austrian school once again. There are 60 Austrians that need a host family (3 teachers and 57 students). The dates that we are hosting are as follows: April 20, 2023- May 4, 2023.
We are fortunate to receive funds for each Austrian student that is hosted

If you choose to host a student or a teacher you can designate where the $200 should be funneled (must be a club/sport that is board approved to run finances). Once the monies are received from the Austrian program our ASB Finance Tech will transfer the funds accordingly.
Basic Rules for hosting:
No co-ed bedroom sharing
No shared beds
Hosted student must attend school with your student.
3 meals per day must be provided for hosted student.
If you take them sightseeing the hosted student is responsible for the admission fees, etc (unless you choose to treat them)
