In this collection of virtual performance assessment videos, we include a video prompt for each type of writing for each grade level, as well as student-facing tools to support students as they plan and write. In the videos, students are read the writing prompt, and led to rehearse, draft, and revise. We have provided the writing prompt and student-facing checklist tools so that students are equipped to set goals and see their own growth. We have also provided an excerpt from The Handbook of Formative Assessment Across the Disciplines, which will support teachers with studying student work to plan instruction.
