Student Meals
For the 2022-2023 school year, all first meals are free for all students (this includes breakfast AND lunch). If your student would like seconds, or would like to purchase extras such as chips, bottled drinks, or ice cream, they will need to put money in their lunch account. Money can be turned in to the main office.
Educational Leave Program
If your child is planning on participating in any outside sport this year, and will need to miss school to do so, please fill out the Educational Leave Request form and email it to Mrs. Kristin Hutchins, LPMHS Educational Leave Coordinator: khutchins@lakeplacidcsd.net. She will also be happy to answer any questions you may have about the program. Please note that the form MUST be submitted to Mrs. Hutchins at least five school days in advance of your child’s leave. This is to allow enough time for teachers and administrators to prepare assignments and check grades. If the form is not submitted at least five school days in advance, the leave will not be approved and all absences will be considered unexcused.
About the Ed Leave Program:
LPMHS is proud to offer our Educational Leave Program for student-athletes who participate on teams that train and compete at the state and national levels in sports that are not school-sponsored (NYSEF sports, luge, bobsled, speed skating, figure skating, travel hockey, etc.). This program is designed to provide educational support for student-athletes who must miss classes to train and compete in their sport.
