Students in Kevin DiTondo’s Studio Art class recently completed sculpture projects, after studying the works of Swedish-American artist Claes Oldenurg. Students started with a drawing of their sculpture and then used a variety of materials to turn their drawings into life-size models – plaster wrap, cardboard, matboard, foamcore, newspaper, paint and hot glue. The sculptures are currently on display in the hallways near the main office.
