Free DCS STEAM Camps offered this summer for students entering grades 6-9

Time to start thinking about summer plans! DCS is offering students entering grades 6-9 the chance to participate in FREE camps this summer, focused around STEAM topics (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math). Three different week-long sessions will take place at the Duanesburg Jr./Sr. High School each day from 9 a.m.-noon, with bus transportation available.

  • July 11 – 14:  SURVIVOR (teams design and complete challenges)
  • July 18 – 22:  MEDIEVAL TIMES (create catapults and try archery)
  • July 25 – 29:  ALBANY CANCODE (explore gaming through coding)

Additionally, DCS is offering a FREE day trip to the NY Power Authority in Blenheim on Friday July 15 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. for students entering grades 6-9 next year. Transportation will be provided.
