Seneca Falls CSD
COVID-19 Guidelines

Dear Staff and Families,

For the upcoming school year we will be following the updated guidance provided by the New York State Department of Health in conjunction with the updated CDC guidance (click the links for updated guidance).

  • First and foremost, if you or your child are symptomatic, please stay home. It is recommended that you test. If the test is negative you/your child can return to school once symptoms have subsided.

  • The daily health screening surveys are no longer required for staff or families/students.

  • The district is no longer required to contact trace.

  • Individuals returning to school after completing 5 days of isolation (day zero is the start of symptoms or positive test result) should wear a well-fitting mask in school and in indoor public spaces on days 6-10.

  • Social Distancing recommendations have been removed.

  • The district will continue to clean and sanitize surfaces daily to reduce the risk of germs spreading.

  • Limited test kits will be made available for students. Details of distribution will be shared with families via ParentSquare.

Thank you for your help in keeping our schools healthy,

Dr. Michelle Reed
Superintendent
Seneca Falls Central School District
