Traditional and Unified Sports
Bellingham School District offers both traditional and Unified Sports. In Unified Sports, Athletes with disabilities and their peers as Partners are coming together across the entire district to compete in bowling, basketball, and soccer. This website will provide all the information you need to become part of this ever-expanding program.
Unified Bowling (2023)
Bellingham School District will have one Unified Bowling team for the whole district at the middle school and high school level.
Who: Any middle or high school student in the district

Unified Robotics (2023)
Bellingham School District will have one Unified Robotics team for the whole district at the middle school and high school level.
Who: Any middle or high school student in the district
Coach: Caitlin Chamberlin

Unified Basketball and Soccer Information
Bellingham School District will have separate Unified Basketball and Unified Soccer teams at each middle and high school. Each school will have their own coach, practice/game schedule, and information. Transportation is provided. Visit the individual school website or contact the main office for more information.
Partners only: Complete Unified Partner Release Form for Special Olympics and turn it in to your coach. This is only required once ever for Special Olympics.
Athletes only: Use Special Olympics Athlete Medical Form for your physical every 2 years for clearance. Turn it in to your school through Final Forms.
The school district will accept the Special Olympics Athlete Medical Form as the physical form for clearance. Special Olympics requires the Athlete Medical Form if you want to compete in official Special Olympics Events.
To cover yourself for both the school district and Special Olympics, please use the Special Olympics Athlete Medical Form for your physical.
